Mark joined KN in 2016 having had almost 10 years’ previous accounting experience at another firm. He is ACCA qualified having passed his final exam and become a full member in 2008 and has been FCCA since 2013.
The majority of Mark’s role involves the compilation of financial statements and management accounts for audit exempt companies and LLPs as well as managing the team’s workload and helping to train the more junior members of the team.
His areas of expertise are generally related to producing financial statements from incomplete records as well as accounting disclosure and treatment requirements under the various accounting frameworks and SORPs.
He also has a broad knowledge of VAT, having done a lot of work on HMRC VAT enquiries, registrations/de-registrations and schemes such as the flat rate scheme.

I’m a big football fan (having had Chelsea FC forced upon me as a child by my dad!).

Apart from supporting Chelsea FC I also enjoy watching American football and Formula One.
Quirky Fact:
I applied for a job at Kirk Newsholme as I was finishing University in 2005, but unfortunately missed out. 11 years later, I managed to convince Jill that she had made the wrong decision!
